New Product - Freebie

Hello! I hope everyone in enjoying their summer. I know some of you are getting ready to head back to school soon, luckily for me students don't show up till after Labor day (I actually think this year it is sooner as Labor day isn't till the 7th- but who's checking?!)

If you haven't checked out the free e-book with tons of freebies and BTS tips head on over to my previous blog post here. I have two free products that are up for grabs as well as my giveaway for saying "Thank You" for stopping by ($25 gift certificate to TPT- just in time for BTS) so don't forget to enter.

One of my freebies is a Back To School/September Themed Noun Sort. It comes complete with materials to do a sort using a pocket chart as well as for students to sort either in a small group, center or 1 on 1 with a teacher. Great for primary grades, SpEd students and ESL student.

Back To School Blog Hop - Sped Edition with free E-Book

Welcome to our Special Education Back To School Blog Hop! Download your free copy of the e-book below and get BTS tips along with tons of freebies from 25 special educators. Also, don't forget to hop on over to everyone's blog and to say thank you for stopping by- everyone is hosting thier own giveaway on thier blog. That is 25 chances to win 25 prizes! So keep hopping and don't forget to register for all the giveaways!

Included in the e-book are 2 of my free products. One is an "IEP at a Glance" form that I created to keep me organized and to see what the year will look like in terms of my IEP meetings. I like to write down all my IEP due dates at the beginning of the school year so I know just when I need to schedule IEP's and if I have a lot that are in a short time space so I can space them out.

I also included a new product that is free (now and through the month of September) called, "Back To School Noun Sort." In this 30 page back to school themed noun packet, you will receive everything you need to sort nouns into person, place, or thing using a pocket chart and a student recording sheet. I also just added a student edition where students have mats and colored sorting cards to sort on thier own- small groups, literacy center, or 1-1 as well as a recording sheet to write their answers down. Plus you will receive a B/W worksheet for students to cut, sort, and paste. So download you e-book and collect all your freebies and tips.

Now- as to say "Thank you" for stopping by my blog, "All Things Special Ed." please participate in my blog giveaway. One lucky person will receive a $25 gift certificate to Teachers Pay Teachers! Who couldn't use that to stock up on all your goodies you want to start the year off right!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

I would love to hear from you- please feel free to comment or offer any BTS tips/suggestions that keep you going with all the BTS activities and setting your classroom up! I have an addiction to the Dollar Store intervention needed right now. I will post my goodies soon! Until next time,

Summer Linky: Where I was 5 years ago

I stumbled across Teachers Are Terrific's Blog and was reading and scrolling and then stumbled upon this fun summer linky party that she was participating in (that already started) from "I Heart Third Grade." The topic to write about this past week was "Where I was 5 years ago" and thinking about 5 years ago, I knew I wanted to join in!

The summer of 2010 was very emotional, I started the process of IVF after having several miscarriages- one being an ectopic pregnancy and being rushed in for emergency surgery. Not only is IVF very expensive (insurance does not cover infertility) but it is like your last hope. In July was when I was going through the retrieval and the implantation of the embryos. IVF was really not that bad (well, I only did it once), it is more the emotional state that really gets you. Then the waiting of 2 weeks to get your blood drawn to know if you are pregnant or you are not (minus the $$$ you just spent!) Well at the very end of July, I found out I was pregnant!

My husband Joe and I- we just found out I was pregnant
